Prof Russomano, Space Doctor

RussomanoAfter working in a busy Brazilian A+E department, Professor Russomano completed a Masters in Aerospace Medicine in America and then a PhD in Space Physiology at King’s College London. She founded and coordinates the ever expanding Microgravity Centre at PUCRS, Brazil. She is associate professor at PUCRS, visiting senior lecturer at KCL, is guest scientist at the German Aerospace Centre – amongst many other posts! Professor Russomano has won numerous National and International awards in Space Life Science Research and has also managed to publish over 200 articles, 6 books and many chapters in books. She is also on the Mars 1 committee!
